"The lads have just finished my garden, they removed my old decking, laid indian sand stone in its place and resealed my old patio. They were really hard working which is an achievement in the tropical weather we are having, the price was excellent and I would use them again without hesitation. Updated review, a few months after the patio was finished I had weeds pop up all over the place, after numerous phone calls and sending pictures, no one came to fix it. Really disappointing."

"AVOID. Started work on new driveway in Nov-21, still not finished mid-March 22, told it would be a 4 day job. When doing the work, lads would turn up at any time, some days not at all or some days would turn up and the person dropping the tools/materials wouldn’t so they couldn’t work. Complete shambles. Rang Andy repeatedly to find out when work would be done and one excuse after another. Was told on last interaction the firm was no longer but also believe they are trading as TAB driveways. Left all their mess in driveway and in road. Really poor experience. I now need to pay someone else to finish the job after paying 7k for a drive that isn’t finished. Avoid Andy Calder"

"I originally contacted AJK a couple of months back as I wanted my drive paved. AJK at the time didnt have 1 bad review. Andy came out, as agreed, on time and provided advice. He gave me a cost and said we would be looking at September for the work to be carried out. I said I would be in touch once I had decided on the final design. At the time all seemed good. Fast forward to now. We arranged for Andy to call back as we now knew exactly what we wanted. He never turned up. I rang and texted over the next few days. In total in took nearly 20 calls and texts until I rang again and he picked up. Said he'd been in hospital. At the time I'd only seen one bad review and thought ok you can't please everyone. We arranged for him to come out again and this time he turned up when agreed. He now said we would be looking at a December date for the work to be done. In the space of a couple of months it increased from a 2 month wait to 4. He said he would get a price over to me in a couple of days. That was over a week ago and I'm still waiting. Given there's now been more bad reviews and Andy showing unreliability as mentioned in recent reviews and as shown to myself, I won't be using him. I'm just glad we've not got so far as to hand any money over. It's a shame as he fantastic reviews until recently."

"Please read to the end of the Review. Just had a complete renovation of my patio (approximately 60 sq m) completed by AJK Driveways & Patio Design. They removed the old patio flags and excavated the site and then laid a high quality base with weed free membrane. The new Indian Stone flags look amazing and I can’t speak highly enough of the lads who did the job; courteous, hard working and professional, especially as the weather was extremely challenging. All in all, would 100% recommend AJK Driveways (see below). UPDATE: This is an update from my previous review, which at the time, I gave a 5 star rating. The original review was from early 2021 when I was extremely satisfied with the work carried out by AJK. Consequently, I have had them back to do further work on the driveway at the side of my property. The difference in workmanship is like night and day. They have been unprofessional, never turning up when expected, and the standard of workmanship has been, at best, adequate. It took 5 weeks from removing the old slabs to having a new driveway (probably 5 days work). They have left me with a blocked drain, and when I have eventually been able to contact them (not easy) they have promised to rectify the issue. Guess what - no show from AJK. Really disappointed in the transformation of the company in such a short period of time."
